Multimodal approach

The multimodal approach is recommended for users with severe behavioural disorders (TGC). According to this approach, the evaluation of the TGC is performed immediately, by identifying environmental, psychological, medical and psychiatric variables likely to be the cause, and afterwards by identifying and targeting those variables.

Basically, the multimodal approach consists of acquiring a better comprehension of the behaviours' causes in order to ensure a personalized intervention that is relevant to the identified causes.
