West Montreal Readaptation Centre (WMRC) offers a professional environment that favours practical learning. By hosting interns in our adult and children’s services’ departments, as well as in our support departments, we strengthen the link between educational institutions and our domain. This is one way we contribute to the training of a quality workforce necessary to support us in our mission regarding intellectual disability and pervasive developmental disorders.
It is therefore with pleasure and enthusiasm that we open the doors of our establishment to students in professional training, of university or college level (or other), who wish to enhance their clinical or administrative knowledge.
Close collaboration and partnerships with various teaching institutions at the national and international level are evidence of our desire to contribute to society by offering interns an environment in constant evolution, on a practical level and with a view to continuously developing research findings.
