Clinical orientations

All WMRC services are personalized and based on an individual service plan, which is derived from a global evaluation of the person's needs and those of his/her family.

Certain models and approaches may be adopted, but most of the time, several are integrated in order to offer services on multiple levels. The intervention is therefore continually re-evaluated in order to verify progress, evaluate the relevance of the objectives initially set and to develop new ones once those have been reached.

The specialized educator is a key person in this regard. He/she is often the one who evaluates the person's needs and those of his/her family, in collaboration with other professionals. Depending on the approach adopted and the complexity of the individual's needs and those of his/her family, other professionals from the establishment may provide support at any time.
